Festivals and events

This summer visitors to Amsterdam can choose from a large number of festivals, presented under the name Amsterdam Arts Adventure. This selection of performance art without language barriers is unique in Europe. The performances will not only take place in theatres, playhouses and concert halls but also in parks and on water; several performances are available free of charge.

Pedal boating on the canals

Rent pedal boats near the Rijksmuseum, Leidsestraat/Keizersgracht, Leidsebosje and Westerkerk and see the city from a very special perspective.
