Pronk Multiservice expands substantially in Port of Amsterdam

4 April 2007
Pronk Multiservice, located on the Elbaweg in the Port of Amsterdam, recently completed building a second industrial shed. The company specializes in lashing and securing cargo on ships, trucks, railroad cars and incontainers. Moreover, it provides assistance (supplying forklift truck drivers, slingers, etc.) to others in loading and unloading cargo in the port area.

In recent times, Pronk Multiservice has been getting busier and busier. The company now employs 45 people and is recruiting additional workers to meet the demand for its services.

The newly built industrial shed covers an area of 2,000 square meters and is 11 meters high. The building has cranes with a lifting capacity of 40 metric tons. Most of the activities consist of packaging work, such as the securing of pumping installations and engines to be transported in shipping containers by sea. The new shed is the same size as the existing one at the site. Expecting to see a further growth of activities, Pronk Multiservice has now ordered the construction of a third shed.
