Canal Creature Box by Anutosh

The Port of Amsterdam will present itself as an ultramodern container port at the Intermodal Transport & Logistics Conference in Bilbao. Amsterdam will do so with the ART-on-a-BOX campaign, which involves 12 local artists painting 12 actual containers over a period of four years. In Bilbao, it will be the turn of artist No. 2 – Anutosh – to create an artwork on a 40-foot container during the conference.

The Intermodal Transport & Logistics Conference is to be held from 8 to 10 November, inclusive in Bilbao, Spain. This conference and the related trade fair are must-see events for all decision-makers in the container and intermodal logistics sectors.

Canal Creature container by Anutosh

This is the second art container out of a series of twelve. The artist is Anutosh, born in the Netherlands in 1970. With their three-dimensional effects, the paintings by Anutosh transport the spectators to strange fairytale-like places where abstract and easily recognizable shapes merge into something suggesting a landscape, an underwater world or an inner universe. Imaginative titles such as the Canal Creature Box only add to the mystery of the artist's images.
