Sustainability

The Port of Amsterdam seeks to be one of Europe’s most sustainable ports in 2020. This means cleaner work and smart handling of port, goods and environment. Internally as well best efforts are invested to have a sustainable organisation in the near future. The Port of Amsterdam wants to set a good example.

Employment & Schooling

The Amsterdam port is an international area. It is home to many companies and has been providing job opportunities at different educational levels. The Port of Amsterdam has launched several initiatives to confirm that the port is an attractive employer and also to realise a match between employment-related supply and demand.
