The Amsterdam port area is an excellent place of business for both national and international companies. Ideal because of its central location, its good connections to the hinterland, the proximity of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the proximity of many European consumers. Amsterdam port area 

The Amsterdam port is called Westpoort and is part of the total port area that extends from IJmuiden (the connection to the sea) including the ports of Velsen, Beverwijk, Zaandam up to and including Amsterdam. Amsterdam port (Westpoort) has some 500 hectares (1200 acres) of immediately available business sites at its disposal. The area is split up in lots varying in size. These are suitable for distribution companies, terminals, manufacturing companies and offices.
